Abuse has no place at home, at work, or in our neighborhoods.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As an organization of working-class women of color, we stand against all kinds of abuse that violates our autonomy, our rights, and dignity as women and people.
Survivors are faced with a number of challenges when trying to escape abuse, but racist, classist, and anti-immigrant systems impose additional burdens on survivors of color, whose survival includes navigating a complex web of oppression.
This month and all year we continue to share our stories and speak out against injustice.
Join us on October 19th, 2023 for our Women’s Circle, where we’ll be diving into this topic before learning practical self-defense techniques!
